At Whole Heart Family Medicine, we believe true health involves more than treating illness — it involves helping people move toward wholeness in body, soul, and spirit.
For this reason, a portion of our practice profits each year supports Shalom Support, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals pursue restoration and flourishing in every area of life.
The word shalom means more than peace — it represents wholeness, wellbeing, and life restored to the way it was meant to be.
Through Shalom Support, several initiatives work to support this vision:
This initiative helps individuals gain access to advanced preventive medical care that can identify hidden risks for heart disease before serious events occur. Through the Kadima Center, scholarships help individuals who otherwise could not afford specialized cardiovascular testing and prevention programs receive early, life-saving care.
Health and flourishing are difficult when basic needs are unmet. This initiative helps provide practical support such as food, education, and essential resources for individuals and families facing poverty. Current initiatives include supporting a school in Kimuli Village, Africa, as well as assisting individuals and families experiencing hardship in our local communities.
True healing also involves the inner life. This initiative helps support counseling, trauma recovery, grief care, and spiritual care resources for individuals navigating difficult seasons and seeking deeper emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
When you choose Whole Heart Family Medicine for your medical care, you are also helping extend care beyond the clinic and invest in the restoration of lives—body, soul, and spirit.
